So several weeks ago, a friend suggested this amazing idea of hosting the "Grilled Cheese party show down" I don't think she called it that, but lets just leave it there as a place holder.
This is how it works
1. you have several competing teams of 2 or more
2. each team is responsible to make some kind of ultimate grilled cheese
and has to provide a beverage to pair up with it
3. Then each person votes for the ultimate grilled cheese based on several cafeterias
- Taste, colour, presentation, name, health factor, pairing with the beverage, and maybe cost
Our team "The Fort" is making...
1. Snazzy Grilled Fromage concoction ( better name will follow)
we are planning to go with simplicity and elegance and taste that is impressionable, and something that is not heavy
to start out,
our bread will be
Winter Harvest Multi-grain bread

It will be soft semi-sourdough (will explain this term later) loaf with hint of molasses and pumpkin, and loaded with oats, sunflower seeds and millet and will have part dark rye and regular flour as the base.
the toppings hasn't been decided yet, but hopefully we'll have some kind of cheese with it...
